Healthy Living

Living a long healthy life is one of our goals. We try to stay as active as we can. I practice Yoga 2-3 times a week and also cardio aerobics and weight training 2days a week. I also play tennis 2-3 times per week. Terry’s job as a home inspector keeps him active all day and he hits the gym 2-3 times a week.

Do we do this every week? No, sometimes other things get in the way, but that is what we strive for. We also love just kicking back and watching a movie on Netflix! The most important thing is consistently trying to stay active – it helps the mind as well as the body. When you blood is pumping it helps those brain cells stay healthy and firing. We want to travel as much as we can as we grow older so staying flexible and moving helps. And at present we have 8 grandchildren with one on the way. That also keeps us on our toes! We love every minute of our time with them.
